As long as there are not 144 people who have "Completed Registration", we encourage people to sign up - it is simply the first 144 to register and pay entrance fee to be guaranteed a place..

DEFINITIONS/EXPLANATIONS
Completed Registrations: Those who have completed the registration form and paid the entrance fee.
Registrations Awaiting Payment: Those who have yet to pay the entrance fee. In the table below, they are shown in order of when people registered.
Alternate 16 (A1/A2/A3, etc): The alternate 16 positions. For full explanations, see below:

There was initially a limit on the number of players per university. However, on 10th October 2009, this was lifted. There will be a total of 144 players in the tournament on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 128 to fully complete registration (by paying the registration fee) will become part of the main draw (32 groups of 4).

The "Alternate 16" will be guaranteed a place, but in what context wont be completely known until closer to the tournament. Whoever is first on the "Additional 16" list will replace the first person to pull out of the main draw. If on the day of the tournament, there are still people on the "Additional 16" list, they will be placed into the groups to make groups of 5.

For those who are currently on the Registrations Awaiting Payment list: You will only stay on this list as long as you dont pay the registration fee. The first 128 to pay will be part of the main draw. The next 16 will be the "Alternate 16"
